I’m Matthew Ross, the current UW-Whitewater Collegiate DECA President for the 2012 – 2013 academic year. I would like to say hello to all of the new faces on campus this year and welcome everyone back to Whitewater! I’m currently a junior here at Whitewater and I plan to major in entrepreneurship.
Although I love business, I also have a strong passion for art. In the past I sold commissioned works or art, but now I’m working on founding a graphic novel company with Brian Turner, our VP of Event Coordinating, and two others. It’s surprising, but the idea for this was actually sparked form a DECA competition. I hope all of our members can take something away from this student organization like I have. We will be doing our best to make many professional and personal growth opportunities available to you.
